Arde?s is a really special find just outside Joplin in Redding?s Mills, MO. Joplin is a city with representatives of every middle-class restaurant chain known to man but it?s well worth a short drive out of town to this delightful fine dining restaurant in an historic Mediterranean-style bath house from the days when this part of Missouri was a resort area famous for its springs. I started with the warm spinach salad, followed by the Chilean sea bass and finished with the chocolate mint pie. All were perfectly prepared and professionally served.
