We will be open to the public the first three weekends in December, no admission charge!  Come by and see the thousands of Christmas lights and many decorations all over the farm.  The picture at left shows that even our chicken coop isn't safe from Christmas lights.   We also have two music and light displays! We will be open those Saturdays from 10-4 and Sundays from 1-4.  Come by and see the decorations, pet and feed the animals, see all the wonderful handcrafted items for sale in our General Store, and go for a wagon ride farm tour! Next Open House: November 7-8, Free to the Public

Our next Open House will be Saturday and Sunday, November 7-8.  We'll be open on Saturday from 10:00 to 4:00, and Sunday from 1:00 to 4:00.  This allows people that wouldn't normally get to be around our animals to see and pet them, and learn more about them.  Come out and visit us, the coffee is on!  We also offer a farm store with handmade craft items and alpaca products.  All proceeds go toward the care and feeding of the animals.  What animals do we have right now?  Mr. Moo the Easter Pig, our pot-bellied pig rescued from Winona (he came to us on Easter weekend) Emma the Emu, a rescue from Moorhead (she really needs a mate--anyone know of a male emu looking for love?) Five Miniature Donkeys, three rescued Five Scottish Highlanders, one black bull and four blondies, three of which are cows Five Alpacas, one female and four males Four Llamas, one female and three males Goats, goats, and more goats, some rescued  Chickens and Roosters Two Belgian mares (Holly and Lila), we're training them to drive the big wagon; we ride them bareback now One Hackney (Prince Norbert), who will be trained to drive our antique buggy and sleigh, and for riding Two rescued dogs (Windsor and Shamus) I feel like I should say "and a partridge in a pear tree" LOL Last Open Houses of 2009: We will be open the first three weekends of December.  We invite everyone to come out and do some holiday shopping in our General Store.  Buy something handmade, or made from alpaca (5 times warmer than wool and hypoallergenic!), including yarn, socks, sweaters, scarves, and more.  Purchase some Heaven and Earth Essentials exquisite bath and body products!  We offer all kinds of unique items. If we have snow during any of these Open Houses, we'll offer our farm tour via bobsled, complete with jingle bells!  See you at the farm! ...read more
