Psinergy: Health for People and the Computers They Use

Six years ago, St. Paul-based Psinergy Natural Health and Holistic Wellness opened its doors. Wellness practitioner SchaOn Blodgett began his holistic health company by offering a variety of services and products for stress management, relaxation and general well-being. He was soon joined by his partner, technology expert André Thomas of Psinergy TechWarrior St. Paul, whose additional business resulted in their “dual-sided healing company” for both people and their computers. “Originally, Psinergy was only meant to be a holistic health company, combining the knowledge from the ages through metaphysical and esoteric studies with new scientific advancements of today’s world,” explains Blodgett, who is also an instructor in holistic health studies at Normandale Community College. “Then we decided to have another branch to the company, providing computer repair services that focused on also educating the clients on their computers and what they can do to avoid issues in the future. This is similar to what we do on the holistic health side of the company in regards to a person’s health- empowering the individual.” Read the full article at: http://www.natwincities.com/Twin-Cities/October-2014/Psinergy-Health-for-People-and-the-Computers-They-Use/ ...read more

Are You Ready for 2014? Tips for starting 2014...

Clinic Hours:@Holistic Gateway Sun - 11 AM to 5 PM Wed - 10 AM to 10 PM* Fri - 10 AM to 8 PM @The Wellness Circle Mon - 4 PM to 8 PM *2nd Wednesday of each month our hours are:     10 AM to 6 PM Kether / AttunementThe month of January is represented by the 1st sephira in the Tree of Life. Kether is located at the very top center of the head (GV20 in Acupuncture). Blockages here inhibit the creative impulses of the individual, and create reactions to show what is not whole within the self. Kether is the place of "limitless light" and "limitless love" (light=love). It is what connects us to the divine, the Creator, the "All", and separation from this light creates fear. Kether is very fitting for the month of January as we are beginning to see an increase of light from the sun (after the Winter Solstice), and Kether talks about drawing this light into our being from above. Meditate on this symbol for 5 minutes a daythrough the month of January to help release the blockages between you and the Universal Light, helping to increase creativity and release of fears. Alternately, you could also print off this symbol (make it about 2.5 inches) and place it at the top of your head for the 5 minutes with your eyes closed.   Schedule In-Office Tree of Life Session(This is deeper than the meditation) Are you ready for 2014?Healthy tips to start 2014 our right! We realize that with the new year, change can and is happening. People start making New Year's Resolutions; weight loss, quitting smoking, eating better, being happier, finding love, being more financially stable, and much more. Often, many people fail with these resolutions as often they don't have the tools to succeed, subconscious thoughts holding you back, past trauma stuck within. This can be very scary for many people after a bit, they begin seeing changes within themselves, and realize "Who will I be after these changes happen?" - or they see the success in failure being easier than the success in striving. Often times we find that people get comfortable with associating with their pains, their sickness, their dis-ease - getting a high off falling flat on their faces.Obviously, you want to change your association with this, otherwise you wouldn't have made the resolution... or be on our newsletter list. So, how can you change this? What would life look like if you could, and did, succeed? Some of the things that maybe beneficial for you is the Access Consciousness work (Access Bars) as this helps to release the 'field' around limiting thoughts, feelings and emotions. Colorpuncture, the I-Ching Questions therapy or the Transmitter Relays can be very nice, and from Ayurveda, detoxing and cleansing can also be great, and the next most opportune time to detox/cleanse will be from January 7th to January 22nd as the next seasonal transition is January 15th.  Schedule In-Office AppointmentShare+1ShareTweetForward to FriendPsinergy joins Twin Cities Holistic Chamber of Commerce  As a community grows, becomes stronger and more prominent, the community that it is becomes more organized.Psinergy Natural Health&Holistic Wellness is very happy to announce that we have joined the Twin Cities Chapter of the Holistic Chamber of Commerce. It stimulates digestive enzymes and promotes rapid absorption of nutrients, while optimizing metabolic function. Trikatu's pungent qualities clear excess mucus from the body, which aids digestion and supports respiratory function. One of the reasons that Trikatu was developed was to take great care of royalty, so the science of creating antidotes to poisons arose in order to counter the guile of assassination attempts. Trikatu is one of the formulas used to “digest” toxins and poisons, not to mention meals. Modern science has confirmed that antioxidants are the typically the best way to neutralize poisons and that Trikatu is burgeoning with potent ones. Also realize that high quality tissue can arise only from high quality food offered to a high quality digestive process. Trikatu, with Turmeric and Tulsi-Holy Basil, is one of your best allies to attain your optimal weight and state of fitness.Trikatu is Vata and Kapha balancing, though can increase Pitta. Addiction Treatment Options

These days you hear people say that they are addicted to things like chocolate, shopping and even their smartphones. Most people wouldn’t jump to candy and technology when it comes to addiction, rather its drugs and alcohol that come to mind. Addiction is an interesting term to think about because there are so many things that it can define. Doug Sellman, who works at the National Addiction Center, defines addiction as compulsive behavior stemming from the subconscious mind. Addiction is often associated with those who suffer from psychological aliments like obsessive compulsive disorder. People with OCD are addicted to certain behaviors like hand washing, counting things and a whole number of quirky actions. In order to delineate between addictions such as drugs and alcohol from those who suffer from OCD, another definition was created.Drug addiction is the repeated consumption of a drug and the overpowering desire or need to continue the behavior. Substitute the word drug for alcohol and it still works perfectly. In order to treat addiction, it’s helpful to know as much about drugs and alcohol as possible. That’s why scientists created a chart of addiction potential for all the major drugs. Heroin took the top spot, but it was followed closely by cocaine and then alcohol in the number three spot. The list was controversial however, as it did not include caffeine, which is widely considered to be a stimulant with addictive properties. The list includes both uppers and downers, as both categories produce addictive substances. In order to combat drug addiction, numerous treatment center programs have been created. Alcoholics Anonymous, also called AA, is one of the longest running and most effective treatment programs ever designed. AA follows a very strict 12-step process, that when followed exactly, will help a person overcome their addiction to alcohol. The steps in Alcoholics Anonymous are very much centered on religion as guide for people to reach sobriety. Many who complete AA consider it to be a spiritual awakening. That’s partly because the twelve steps are aimed at the four major areas of health; physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. AA is also characterized by its use of sponsors, who are fellow AA members assigned to be a support system for each other. Some of the twelve steps even require participation by an addict’s sponsor. If you or someone you know as tried to kick a substance abuse habit in the past but was unsuccessful, contact the addiction treatment specialists at the Christian Alcoholism Helpline in Woodbury, MN as soon as you can. The trained staff is professional, knowledgeable and willing to help anyone who is serious about making a positive change in their lifestyle. ...read more
