I had a shipment sent from Wisconsin on a Friday scheduled to arrive the following Friday in Arizona. I called my local terminal per sellers instructions on Thursday to confirm the delivery. The local terminal reported that the package did not arrive and that they couldn't reach Lakeville Motor Express to find out where the package was. After emailing seller and making multiple calls to LME, my package was found sitting in a warehouse in Des Moines where it had been dropped 5 days prior and forgotten. LME informed me that they would get to it when they had time, that they had been in business for 90 years and that it wasn't profitable for them to send a truck until it was full so I'd have to wait until they had a full truck to start sending my item to Arizona. Further they refused to offer any shipping refund, and they refused to help me schedule a new delivery time, furthermore they said "after we drop your item at the local terminal you'll likely have to wait a day or two for a lift truck to be filled prior to delivery as it's not profitable to send a lift truck for only your package.". Currently today is the scheduled delivery day and it sounds like I will be lucky to to have my delivery by a week from now since it's still sitting in Iowa after leaving Wisconsin and I live in Arizona. I have to say this is the worst shipping company I have ever dealt with and in the future I would refuse to purchase any item until the shipper agreed not to use this rude, dishonest, untrustworthy company. Laughably, their message while you wait on hold (which will be a long time) says " we deliver on time". As a third party logistics company we have experienced several carriers in the freight industry with positive and negative results. LME has actually been one of the best carriers to work with and we have yet to here them say "guarantee it" unless it is really under a guaranteed shipment. In a world filled with negative reviews of many companies our company feels it should be known that LME is a breath of fresh air in this industry. If any issues are had you can bring it up to ownership and get to them daily without having to go through 20 different people. We have done over a thousand shipments with LME and have had issues that needed to be resolved in only a couple of them. That is 99.9% of all shipments happening without an issue. ...read more

I returned a voicemail from this company to set up a delivery, Brian, the owner, was EXTREMELY RUDE!!! I requested a return call in the next 1-2 days (which is a completely normal customer service request). Brian said, "We will get to you when we get to you." and "You're not our customer. You don't pay us.". He also said, "You're not supposed to be calling this number." When I responded that this was the return number I was given, he went into a rant about how they're having issues with the company who is paying them to deliver. This is terrible customer service. It's true our company is not the one paying Jomar; however after this experience we certainly NEVER will be a paying customer and I will be passing this information on to your paying customer. Brian’s behavior was unacceptable. No one needs to know any business issues you are having with your paying customers & I’m sure they will not be pleased with his lack of discretion. Treating a non-paying customer in that way is NO way to treat anyone or get new business; word of mouth travels fast. What a horrible experience! ...read more
