Spent over 3,000.00 on new bedroom furniture for one of my girls, i agreed to the wrong piece of furniture and in the end I'm stuck with a puny mirrored armoire that was over $700.00! To exchange it for the $980.00 one was going to cost me over $1,300.00 because of restocking and shipping fees!! Not happy with company and they didn't even seem to care! They got their money and that's all they care about! Why bother calling the next day to see if we are happy when they don't CARE! This review is related to their website and how misleading. BUYERS BEWARE!!! This website is very misleading and has no item numbers or online ordering. Buyers are at the mercy of the salesperson who, if you are unlucky like us, can make as many mistakes as they want and the buyer will have to pay for it. My husband and I bought $7000 of furniture in 1 order from this company for Christmas for our children. We bought 3 beds. Everything was fine until we opened up the product we bought for our daughter and it was incorrect. They claim it was a special order, ever though we didn't order it, and want us to pay for the shipping and replacement costs of approx $600 after we just spent $7000. We refuse to pay for something that was salesperson mistake and they claim they can't do anything about it. When we asked for the owners number to discuss the matter they refused to give it. Annie=Store manager, horrible, should never be in a Managment position!! She incorrectly informed me that our furniture was in, we called ahead to pick it up a week later and discovered it was not there!!!After a conversation with Annie she said they could give us free delivery when our order came in:-( $99.00 for delivery which after it was brought to our home it's a courier service.... 1 man that couldn't even lift the box(s) on his own!!!Do not even waste your time with this company, go to HOM, Schneidermans, Ethan, Pottery Barn Kids... I recently ordered a bunk bed for my kids - Twin over Twin - the first one of our choice was available in stock. When I opened the box to assemble, we found that it has manufacturing defects as well as issues with the hardware provided.The replacement was provided by store of a different color - but again it has some other issue. The upper bunk doesn't fit on the top of the lower bed.Am waiting for the store to respond. What an experience. ...read more

I bought two of the Dixie loft beds, plus coordinating dressers and desks a year ago. Both dressers broke within 6 months ( the plastic track that keeps drawers in place broke in a couple of places). The finish on the top of the desk and dresser is very unforgiving. If it gets a pen or crayon mark, it doesn't ever really go away. The delivery service used to deliver the furniture arrived at 7am and tried to leave the furniture on the curb near the street because they claimed we had not paid for in home delivery. Once you get a hold of the manager or tech. He gives you the run around to. For ex, it'll be ready tomorrow. Tomorrow comes. Something else comes up. It'll be ready in a couple days. Couple days later. Something else, it'll be ready next week. Ridiculous. Poor customer service. They definitely need to learn how to run a business. So those are my experiences. Store is teeny tiny. Everything is crammed in there. It's hard to find things. Most things don't look up to date. Prices for one item ranges from one to another. I had to ask employee what the price was and he had to look up it. Funny, because he didn't even update the rest of the games just left it as it was on the wall... I've been in there a lot bc it's the only game store on campus. I bought a system there. It red ringed the first night I brought it home. I came back the next day. They gave me a different one. LUCKY me, it happened again. Came back gave me another one (my 3rd). For my inconvenience they gave me 15% off one new game. WOW right? Out of all these time I still could not get a hold of the manager. The customer service is horrible. You get the run around. I had to come in the my system repaired 6 mos later bc it red ringed. I placed an online order with Totally kids back in April - i asked how long it would take to be delivered and was told I would have it no later than end of May. When the end of May came and went without a word,Ii called Totally Kids only to be told that there was an " issue" and I should have my furniture by the end of June. So I wait...the end of June comes and goes and I start to call again...now I'm told it's ongoing issue and it will be the end of July. I ask to talk with the store manager. Annie the manager does NOTHING for me . I ask to talk with the owner and I'm told she isnt allowed to share that information with me. It's now August 7th and guess what...still no furniture. I give this store a 5. Small business, but with potential. They have minor tweaks here and there. As a customer, I say they are understanding to issues if you speak up and their level of patience is phenomenal when problems occur. For ex. my kids buy games there and the discs get scratched and such. They resurface them for me all the time to brand new. Also, my console red ringed on my and they fixed it 5 times for me. Both of my daughters take lessons from Music Masters. Their instructor is very talented, very enthusiatic, and has been a great motivator in terms of daily practice. Communication about lessons and recitals is very clear, and they are very professional in every aspect at Music Masters. I received 100% on my first college music theory test. I was so excited. Also, at my first college flute lesson, I showed my teacher all of the books that we have been using and she was so excited! She wrote down all of the names of the books, top register and double tonguing and everything else and said "These are so GREAT!"
