My friends though it would be some interesting stakes in a bet for the loser to get a spray tan. I've tanned for vacations before, but never had to get a spraytan. Im sure they though I was going to come out looking like a oompa loompa but that was not the case. The spray tan actually looked legit like I had just spent a week in mexico. They were slightly dissapointed, but I was not. I think i'll continue to ""cheat"" and get spraytans here more often. My first impression was good custermer service went went there. The beds were good. But I am planning on a trip in the south. I went to go tanning and it was 4:30pm. I arrived. They were closed. :( The sign on the door said they would be open until 6pm. They left no note on the door or anything. I needed to go tanning at a place that would be true to their hours. After reading some of the reviews I have to say that I have never encountered any problems here at this salon. All those anonymous reviews are from former employees that want to ruin a great business. Joy the owner is not rude or mean to her staff. In fact she works very hard to give her employees the training to provide the best service to their clients. Really can you name 1 other salon where the employees actually have knowledge of the beds in their store? Enjoy Tanning offers you the care and knowledge every tanner show expect from a salon. I bought a new package for $42 for 180 minutes or whatever. Then a week later they put up a sign saying "Closed for an Emergency." Okay, so I came back in a week. The sign is still up. Okay, so I came back the NEXT week again, and come to find out today that it is still up. I called the number and it is out of service. Stay away from Sun Place.. The results were so-so. The large lotion display was moderately priced however their memberships prices & packages didn't make much sense. A little over priced for the type of salon it is "ma & pop" type business. Without super clean rooms, clean equipment period, , radios in all the beds, and litte more professional staff are afraid to cuss in front of strangers and aren't blabbing on a telephone within earshot with more profanity it's going to be diffiucult to reel in new customers in. When I went to get my hair done at HCX, I asked for natural, cool toned blonde highlights. Unfortunately, they turned out completely yellow and orange. I asked my stylist to redo them, which she did (she was very nice), and they turned out even worse. She ended up foiling them multiple times, and by this point it was late at night and my hair was fried. I was charged nearly double the price listed on the website. I left upset, and tried to call the manager the next day. I was told she would call me back by 4pm. She never called. At that point, I couldn't go out in public without feeling like Bobo the Clown, so I made a new appointment at a different salon. The new stylist spent hours on my hair, stripped it of all the color, recolored it, gave it a deep conditioning, and cut off 3 inches (because of all the damage). Joy may be the worse salon owner ever. I feel bad for her husband. Nothing is clean about this place and Joy is terrible to the customers. Italian Tan is down the street. Great owners and better beds! O and Italian Tan actually changes the bulbs so they dont burn you. ...read more
