I am writing to tell I bought a washer the end of Nov and by Dec. 27,2010 I was calling Sears explaining my washer no longer worked. I was given a number to a service tech for repairs..45 min later I hung up, called again later 30 min, and the third time 15 min then to find out the soonest they could send a repairman was Jan 12, 2011 that is 16 days before someone could come and look at my washer...that didnt include if it needed parts that needed to be ordered. After calling the store back to explain that was not going to work for me I got put through to a manager "who was going to work on what he could do" I never did hear back from him. MY husband called and said we were returning the washer then was told for 25.00 more you could get a different washer that was less in size. Is customer service a thing of the past? I have a washer full of clothes from a brand new washer that will not unlock or drain. I am done with SEARS! ...read more
