I was in this apartment for only one year. It was one of the worst apartment experiances I have ever dealt with. They trap you in with great deals then get you in the end of your lease. I was charged $715 for new carpet because there was a stain on my steps..... FROM THIER MATAINENCE MAN tracking in mud! The first month I was there I had to call matainence 3 times. Once for the air conditioning, then for the hot water heater and then for the dish washer. Not minor issues. Security was worthless we got our car broken into the second month we were there. I also recieved threatening letters from the main office that they would evict us if my daughters bicycle wasnt removed from our porch. I moved there thinking that I would ""get what I paid for"" and agreed to a higher rental rate than similiar apartments in the immediate area - boy was I wrong - The ""secured"" entrys often have coins or debris jammed in the door to prevent security, the basement smells like a used cat box and many leaks, the hallway has the basement smell. There is 1/2 in gap around the door which allows any smoke and/or food/cooking odors and ALL the noise from neighbors. They leave the sprinklers on for 12-24 hours at a time, which probably reflects the higher rent. If your unit requires service, EXPECT the maintence crew to leave a mess for you to clean up. The silly ""wall unit"" air conditioners are EXTREMELY noisey and old, and barely gets the living room cool, and simply does not cool the bedrooms at all. The neighbors think it is great fun to jam their stereo out into common area (thinking that the rest of the world enjoys their music?). Very noisy complex. Garbage dumpsters are emptied about 6 am and the maintenance guy vacuums the common hallway no later than 7 am on Sunday morning (thanks to the gaping door frame, it WILL wake you in your bed).
