I moved 60+ miles 2 years ago so I switched pulmonologists. I had been a patient of Glenn Vanotteren for several years & was always pleased. After moving I first visited Dr. Hoch which was a huge mistake. The man is extremely rude (suggested I go home and promptly run over our cat to decrease my pulmonary issues - if the cat is fast it may take a couple swipes). Then tells me if my wife can't cook without using salt then she is not a very good cook - at this point I got up and walked out of his office (I wanted to punch him for his comments, but I wanted to show better character than he and besides who wants a physical assault charge on their record). I then went to Ivey. although I have received okay care I am very disappointed that in 9 visits I have only seen Dr. Ivey once briefly. I went to Ivey because I wanted to see him (at least 50% of the time), not his PA.
