This place is horrendous. They don't care about the quality of the apartments or how we feel in them. I had my window shattered by an outside source; didn't fix it for a week, and I live on the bottom floor by myself. Even though I didn't feel safe; they made no rush to fix it. I've also called stating I felt unsafe in my own home because my car was keyed and my neighbors weren't acting in a manner that I felt safe; I called 6 times...no call back. I also have a sink that is buckeling in the middle. I'm pretty sure my sink is going to collapse, but they just stuck a 2 x 4 on it and called it good to go. I have been renting from SW for 2 years now and I swear I will NEVER rent from them again. As the comment below state, they are unorganized unprofessional and lazy. I have called multiple times about broken light fixtures, broken doors, parking issues, and water problems and they haven't fixed anything. They are always rude to me when I pay my rent and they always loose my information (the copy of my drivers license, my proof of paying rent) and when I went in to get my key for my new apartment on the first day of the lease (at 4:30 and they close at 5) they told me that they lost it and had to go make a new one. I waited until then closed but they still had not returned, and since I had to work I had no way of getting into my apartment that night. They also charged us for a cleaning fee and DIDN'T CLEAN THE APARTMENT! The walls were covered in dirt and dust and there was kitty litter on the floor- I'm guessing from the previous tenants. The ceiling in the bathroom was BROWN (it was originally painted white) They only cleaned because I called there FOUR times to complain saying that I wanted my cleaning fee back. I found this sit because I am looking up their email so I can tell them there is no room for me to park in my own parking lot because they haven't plowed. NEVER rent from these people. Dealing with SW was a new (not good) experience for my roommate and I. Despite paying rent on time every month, never having a complaint against us, not damaging the home, improving the property (put in gardens, trimmed bushes and sidewalks, etc.) and very few maintenance calls...we were still treated poorly. They are disorganized, unprofessional, and seem to treat everyone like a no-good college student. Rent from someone that will treat you like an individual, Please. One guy in the building is friendly but everyone else is grumpy and honestly seem out to get you. They are ALWAYS on the offensive and won't stop to listen to you and consider if you are being reasonable. I'm sure they have dealt with some tough tenants in the past, but expect for them to treat you like a problem rather than a valued customer.
