I had a similar experience to the reviewer who encountered a crowd at the door , even with reservations . The host never checked reservations , just took who he wanted . The food was off the menu , so there is no reason for poor food , but it was . The service was non existant for most of the evening . The food was very poor for what was expected . I too had the the Lobster pasta . No one came with Parmasian or pepper , which it needed. It took a full 10 minutes to hail someone , not my server .The wine was not the one I asked for and had to be returned .The pasta was cold and dry .Desert was good....I will never return ...read more

A mouse-like rodent ran across my foot while waiting for a table. The host was not concerned, he mentioned it was cold and that the doors had been open a lot. Makes me wonder exactly how many vermin occupy Cafe Cortina. The fact that the waitstaff/host/owner did nothing or even apologize was the most disturbing.
