On august 5th 2014 a liar from bd came to my house to service a refridgerator under warranty. He claimed i voided the warranty by not having a dedicated circuit to the unit. When i asked for proof a dedicated circuit was mandatory he pointed to a paragraph in the owners manual. It read "should always be plugged into it's own individual outlet". I called GE and agreed they with me. It was installed properly!!!
