I sent an email with a few inquiries about a listing from craigslist.com, I received a response saying "reread the listing." I replied saying respectfully, these questions were not answered and listed some additional questions. I received back the rudest response I have ever received about a listing. The responses hardly answered the questions and then boasted how they could not care less if I wanted to rent from them because I am obviously "offensive, hostile, and rude"- for inquiring about whether the listing is shared, furnished, and about their pet policy. The apartments are fairly well kept, but ours had old sort of shaggy carpet. The area was safe. The management needed multiple calls before any action was taken to fix anything. It was not strange to wait weeks before maintenance came out. When we called management they would say they thought it had been taken care of, and then we might get some action. Often we would still have to call back again. The property manager, Janna, was very friendly and nice, but it unfortunately did not make up for the incompetent management. It was a nice place to live, but we hated the fact that nothing ever got done. Also, during the winter the parking lot had ice 2-3 inches thick in front of the buildings. We slipped for months until a bin of soil was left out for us to spread. When we moved out we had to call about our deposit and did not receive it until over a month later.
