i have been to nail trix many, many times. perhaps i hope it will get better? i gave it two stars because i've gotten some pretty good manicures there, however, for the second time i've had tam (not tan, because she is great) and it was awful. the manicure looks as if you'd painted it yourself. also, it seems most people there don't understand not wanting one's cuticles cut. one of the benefits is that a manicure is only $14 and they can usually squeeze someone in with no more than a 10 minute wait as a walk-in. i always bring my own color though because their selection is severely limited. ...read more

be careful at this place. the first time i got tips done there, the service was great. my nails were all even and nicely painted, filed, etc. nothing was done to the cuticles but i didn't mind. when i went to get my nails filled, though, a guy (i didn't get his name) did my nails and he did an atrocious job. he burned my finger with the dremel tool and didn't file the tips at all. they were scratchy and raggedy. he also got acrylic as well as polish (the wrong color, too) on my fingers. i didn't notice while he was working what an awful job he was doing so i didn't stop him, but i went and bought a four sided file/buffer and redid the nails myself at home. in short, be wary that the service may be careless and too rushed. ...read more
