On the morning of July 24, 2010, I attempted to purchase a few items from you Liberty Rd (Randallstown) store. After waiting in two long lines, I asked an employee if there was someone available to open another cash register. She stated that a manager could open another cash register. Then she proceeded to continue her conversation with the stock clerk. Was it my “JOB” to go to the manager? She also stated “It’s always like this on Saturdays.” Which leads me to believe that the store has had a lot of Saturdays to solve this problem. There were only two cashiers and at least three or four people stocking. I see something very wrong with this picture. I think that in urban areas the customer service is below par most of the time. It is mostly due to the lack of verbal and written complaints or suggestions. A business can only improve service once consumer’s needs are acknowledged.
