We are up in this area about once a week so we take our 2 kids (4 yo & a toddler) for ice cream. The owner is a very friendly grandfather like guy who makes the kids feel like they are at grandpa' s house with ice cream treats thrown in. I like it cuz the ice cream is delicious and he always has something interesting to eat that you wouldn't expect at an ice cream shop. Right now he has hot home made soups you can eat there or take home a quart for later. He also just started selling french bread pizza. So we were able to have a quick yummy meal last time we were in. Great place for families particularly kids. He usually has a kids video going so the kids dont want to run around.
