I had a great experience and yes I did have to make an appointment. I fully expect to have to do this being they sold some 2000 of these Groupons- so if you expected to be seated on the spot as a walk-in customer- rookie mistake. \t\nI had the mani/pedi and they were very professional and friendly. I agree its a relaxed atmosphere and I was surprised they offered so many different services. \t\nI get my nails done regularly and for me the "tell tale sign" of a good salon is that they don't miss the edges of your nails and this place was spot on.\t\nI have continued to go there now that my Groupon is used and I am treated the same as I always have- which is very well. \t\nIf I decide to go last minute I make sure to call first and check that they have space but I don't consider this a burden- most good places are busy (especially when they sell out on Groupon). ...read more

My daughter and I had been to the spa previously and had a great experience. She was excited to see the groupon and bought it thinking what a great birthday gift for my 50th birthday! TWICE she tried to make appointments each time the spa had appointments until the groupon was mentioned. Then there were no longer available appointments! They also made her feel as though she was being rude for pointing out there was availability until the groupon was mentioned. We will not be going back nor will we recommend this spa. ...read more

I had a nearly identical experience as the nanamo9. I have attempted to use my Groupon two different times and was told there was no availability as soon as I said that I had a Groupon. The first time was two weeks ago. I called and was told they were booked. I understood initially because I assumed they were swamped with the holiday and everyone trying to use their Groupon. Just this morning I decided to walk to the Square to see if they were open and to make an appointment. I was pleased to see that they were open. I went in and there was 1 customer and 3 open chairs. Two employees were unoccupied. I said that I would like to get a mani pedi later in the day. I did not even specify a time. Any time would have been fine. The woman at the desk said ok, and then said "Oh do you have a groupon?" I said yes, and then she said "We can't take care of you today." I found it hard to believe that they were completely booked for the rest of the day. I pointed out that there were three empty chairs. She said they had a lot of customers coming in, but I could see that her book was empty. She then changed her reason to the fact that she "had to do a lot of paper work." I was flabbergasted. A business will never succeed when the paperwork is the priority over customer service. Her entire countenance changed as soon as she remembered to ask me about the Groupon.
