It is important to point out that much of what we discovered to be drawbacks about living at Thames Point Apartments were know issues. We feel that, although we inquired about these specific points before signing a lease, we were assured that they were no longer a problem. This was not true. We feel we were mislead.We've had issues with excessive partying and noise (including vomiting over the railing outside our apartment) as late as 3:00 am, ventilation problems which pumped stale cigarette smoke into our apartment from an adjacent unit (we are not smokers), and a serious fire hazard ... we actually put out a smoldering fire in a wall-mounted ash tray late one evening. Upon mentioning this to the night watchman, he said, "I've seen that happen a few times." Upon reporting this to the management, we got no response at all ... and no change to the ash trays to reduce the potential for fire. Search for the video on YouTube. ...read more
