Marie's Beauty Salon & Supply

I had heard of Marie's for the entire year I've been here and decided to give them a chance. The first appointment was rather simple, full color and trim. Rita did a good but it cost me over $250. I thought well it was worth it. So to add to the challenge I decided I wanted some lo lights (foils) added to my hair. She assured me that she knew how to do it. When I got there she thought I wanted highlights and I said "no, no blonde" my skin color doesn't go with blonde. I asked her again if she could do lolights? She assured me she could but said she need to add a few highlights to show the depth. I agreed to only two blonde foils. When the color was done the whole top of my hair was electronic white, I couldn't believe it. I asked her "what didn't she understand about no blonde" She told me she was going to put on a permanent toner and that it would last for several weeks. She did that and got the blonde down to calmer light brown. Then she cut it and I had no idea she was totally incompetent or I would have moved on from there. I left the shop thinking well this is disastrous. This disaster cost me over $300. (PART 1) Part II. I washed my hair on Monday and all color and toner washed off. I was really upset and called Maries to complain. They asked me to come in again and have new lolights put on the hair. They scheduled me for Tuesday afternoon with Liz. Again, they assured me she knew what she was doing. Liz was very personable and told me that Rita had only used semi permanent toner and that she was going to add permanent lolights. This excursion only cost me the $40 tip. Liz told me that she was going to "clean up" Rita's cut a bit. She dried it and sent me on my way. She suggested I purchase a Morrocan oil and mask to alleviate the dryness the continuing bouts with bleach and lolight colors was causing my follicles. I bought them and went on my way. Part 3. Washed my hair again, the lolights were again gone and now my haired showed all the electronic white blonde with dirty streaks coming through all over my head; its like a muddy red clay look, no shine and certainly no style as the cut is even worse as there a vacant spot on both sides above my ears. I think the ladies were teaching me a lesson; however, they don't realize they've met their match. I also called the distributor for Morroccan oil and they told me that the stylists know that the oil removes color. PART IV. I am going to add a cover up, wait for the hair to grow and go to an experience shop for clean up. I am writing letters to the owners (Marie and Diane) and copying the State Better Business Bureau. NEVER NEVER GO TO THIS SHOP. Then to add insult to injury, the pedicurists discussed my situation with a friend of mine. )*%@@^
