I went to Gatto's to purchase flowers for the cemetery. The selection was very mediocre at best (lots of red geraniums). The one female who also ran the register was of little help. Upon reaching the cemetery and beginning to plant the flowers, I noticed they were very dry and potbound. Girls Like Roses is the best florist in Worcester Ma. I used to go to another florist for flower delivery for my wife, but Girls Like Roses was open on a Saturday and I ordered a dozen roses for her like I do once a week. I thought the roses would be about $75.00 to $100.00 for the rose bouquet delivery. When he told me it would be $25.00 to deliver to Shrewsbury I asked if there was a mistake. The gentleman told me that they delivery a dozen roses anywhere in Worcester County for only $25.00. Every other florist charges about $100.00 for the delivery. It's unbelievable. I immediately thought the roses would shoddy, so I asked about the quality. Jeff said the roses were of the highest quality from South America and get huge blossoms. He also taught me how to care for the roses and cut them so they would last a long time.
