We found Giovanni and Blessed painting in Yelp, and seeing good reviews, contacted him to paint a few rooms in our new house. They are extremely reasonable, really fast and wonderful to work with. They also took care of light carpentry around the house and did exterior work like refinishing our deck, all for a very reasonable sum. I would work with Giovanni and his crew anytime! ...read more

Electrical Safety In The Summer Time
The season we have all been waiting for is almost here! The long, sometimes hectic days of summer, While we enjoy all of our outdoor activities whether it's in our back yards or camping in trailers, please keep electrical safety in mind. Both the National Electrical Code and the Massachusetts Electrical Code require outside power receptacles to be protected by ground fault circuit interrupters (GFCI). These electrical devices GFCI will shut off if a ground fault occurs protecting you from an electrical shock hazard. If you are not sure if your outside receptacles are protected by ground fault circuit interrupters then hire your local electrical contractor to check them out and insure you and your family's safety. Please be cautious of just some of the potentially hazardous situations we all find: Extension cords used outside and plugged into a non (GFCI) protected outside circuit Extension cords not approved for outside use Extension cords used to power cutting machines and other tools used for outside Water in the area of both protected and unprotected circuits Inappropriate, illegal and dangerous pool wiring and connections Moving electrical devices like the stereo for example to the outside and plugged into an inside circuit and allowing the storm or screen door to be pushed against itpossibly injuring the insulation Tripping hazards of extension cords Dangerous use of extension cords while camping Camping without the protection of ground fault circuit interrupters on the power cord Not using good common sense around the use of electricity Summer is a great season let's all enjoy it together by thinking about safety first.
