Safe manufacturers build their safes differently, so depending on what you are looking for in protection don't just go grabbing the 1st safe you see while you are at one of the Big Box Stores. You have to remember that these stores do NOT specialize in what we DO specialize in: Security. We are specialists in our line of work. We don't go trying to sell screws, and hammers, and appliances, and batteries, and cleaning liquids, and ladders, and concrete, etc. I think you get what I'm trying to say. We Specialize in what we sell! We sell Security. The safes that we sell YOU can depend on. Fire protection and Burglar Protection. We carry the products we know will do what YOU want them to do, and we stand behind our products. Our safes WILL open when YOU want them to open, and NOT open when YOU don't want them to: when someone is trying to break into it. We carry the Brands and the Models that we know YOU will need and want. If at any point you are not sure WHY a certain safe is carried in our stores, just ask us. We'll tell you. AND, if for some reason you feel you didn't get the full explanation or just don't understand what our safes do compared to the Big Box Stores' safes please contact Paul Letourneau- owner of Seacoast Lock&Safe; Co., Inc. at: paul@seacoastlock.com One thing to remember: Seacoast Lock & Safe CAN carry the EXACT SAME brands and models that these Big Box Stores carry. We CHOOSE not to carry them: they are CHEAP safes that will not perform as they should. We have been in business almost (50) years, so we have seen a lot in those years on what safes stand up and perform and which ones fail. We are the ones that Service these safes, the Big Box Stores don't. Once the Warranty Period is over you don't go back to the Big Box Store to have them open it, you call US/ Seacoast Lock&Safe, so WE are the ones that know what safes don't stand up and perform as they should. What we see all of the time, is that these safes from the Big Box Stores DON'T open when YOU want them to. They mal-function, and WE get the call to come out and open it, usually having to damage the safe to get into it, and the quality (or lack of quality) of the safe makes it that it is NOT worth repairing and getting back into working order. When you want your safe to open, you want it to open. We have gotten SO MANY calls over the years to come open a customers safe as they are attempting to get into it to get their Passport for a trip they are going on in the next few hours, making it crucial to get it open immediately, or when a customer needs to get into it get a Will or Insurance Papers or other important documents. Not only is this very inconvenient for a person, but it is also costly. When you purchase a safe you expect to be able to get into when you want/need to and not have to go through additional costs just to get it open! Please visit one of our (3) stores to check out what we carry in safes: Burg Wachter--- German-made Top-Quality safes, Amsec, Gardall, and New England brand safes. All in stock.
