I had the unfortunate luck of having my car towed by this company after I totaled it in an accident. The customer service I received was nothing short of appalling. Because my car was totaled I was stranded until a friend came to pick me up. I had previously called and was told they closed at 5. Due to traffic, I was unable to be picked up and make it to Stan's until 5:10. However, there was a car parked outside the shop and a man inside counting out money from the day at the desk. I apologized that it was after 5, but explained my car had been totaled and I wanted to gather some of my belongings if possible. The guy immediately started giving me attitude. My daughter was in a car accident and someone from Stan's towing showed up. Not only did he not let her use her AAA, he did not offer any kind of help. Just was a jerk and took off with her car and keys...didn't offer her a ride even to the nearest exit. Seriously, please learn to be more helpful...pretend that whoever you are towing is someone you care about and treat them accordingly. Even the trooper who was at the accident couldn't believe his behavior and gave my daughter a ride off the freeway....
