After weeks of searching, making phone calls and getting discouraged I went back to the first company I saw listed online. That would be jempros. I figured seeing they were so easy to find there must be a catch. Wow, was I wrong. I had them create a logo for our company and they not only did an awesome job but saved us $200 which was lower than our 2nd lowest quoter. Don't be fooled by meta-tags
Since being in business designing websites in 2001 I have come across some "shady" web design companies. Don't get me wrong, there are pleanty of honest, hardworking companies and freelance designers, but still a huge percentage of people I run into don't know the do's and don'ts. Meta-tags: These are hidden codes written inside your websites pages. Lets face it ... I know a lot of things, but not every business and their lingo. I'm sure any plumber can rattle off 30 words describing a pipe but I could only think of maybe 3. So its sometimes best to have the customer (YOU) write the keywords and/or other phrases that would be included in meta-tags. Thats the DO part of it. The DON'T! Don't let anyone charge you for it! It takes all of a minute to copy and paste that info from an e-mail into your code. I've noticed this practice of charging a customer or offering "FREE" meta-tags! Wow, thanks for nothing.
