I worked at a Namco for a while. The amount of complaints about products sold there was ridiculous. It's true the pools are cheaper than almost anywhere else, but you get what you pay for. The high end pools there are nice, and rarely have issues. Not so much for the pools in the low-mid price range. Sadly, don't expect great customer service either. Most issues get sent to corporate. When I was working at Namco there were only 3 people working in customer service at corp. There are 48 store locations, many of which sell multiple pools every day. Like I said, the quality of some of the equipment sold is questionable . . . with that many pools going out the door customer issues get backed up. The culture there is SELL SELL SELL. Short term profit, not long time customers.My advice, don't let the prices lure you in. After 3 years my above ground pool has holes where the steel walls are rotting through! They won't do anything about it. We have also had to replace various parts of the pump, jets, you name it! My parents had a pool for 15 years that didn't have any problems and we were making repairs and replacing parts after 1 year!!! Do not buy a pool from Namco!!!! ...read more
