Disappointed. The prices were okay, but the quality was not. Purchased items with a debit card; returned items last week, still waiting for refund in my checking account. I think it's interesting that they are able to instantly withdraw money from your account, but require almost a week for the refunded money to be credited back to the account. The prices are unbeatable. The staff is knowledgable and helfull. After shopping @ both the New Bedford and Fall River locations I have nothing but good to say. All the products they carry are quality. I checked prices at work n gear and bobs and jackets pants and boots are all cheaper @ Carter' not to mention a better selection and a staff that can actually help you. I enthusiastically recommend the Dress Express in Fall River. I live South of Boston and had looked all over metropolitan Boston and Rhode Island for a dress for my daughter's wedding. My husband's colleague recommended Dress Expres right off the highway in Fall River and I decided to take the 45 minute trip. It was well worth it. They have an extremely large selection of mother-of-the bride dresses and if you buy certain brands the alterations are free. When I had questions about the alterations they had me meet with Gen, the seamstress who couldn't have been more helpful. Also Maria and the other salespeople were wonderful and very honest about what looked good on me. When I met with Gen I went down to the Bridal Department and they had beautiful dresses as well.
