Happy New Year. Well now is a great time to go through your closets and de-clutter. Experts say we use only 20% of what we have in our closets. So with that said, take a look at each item and if you haven't worn it in the last year or so put it in a pile for the consignment stores. Did you know that there is a Consignment Store Association on the Cape. Go to www.capecodconsignments.com. It's a wonderful way to get some cash for things you no longer use or want. I also like to use Craigs List as well as EBay. Consignment stores will typically take clothes that are laundered, ironed and on a hanger ready to put on the racks. If you have pieces of furniture or artwork most of these shops will take them as well. Check them out!
