With this winter's heavy snowfall Boston's roofs were put to the test. Many of the leaks we are seeing now are directly related to the snow Boston received and its subsequent removal from roofs. During the height of the roof shovelling period, there were many companies hiring people off the street, to shovel off single ply roof systems (EPDM or TPO). These people had no idea of how easy it is to punture a single ply membrane... and probably did not care. If your single ply membrane roof was shovelled off, and you are experiencing leakage now, it probably is not just a coincidence. ...read more
