Slow cold water fill on a washing machine.
If the cold water just trickles in to your washer, the screens in your water valve are probably clodded with dirt or debris. While you can clean the screens and get it to fill faster, you should be careful. If you push some of the dirt into the valve you could damage the valve and it may not shut off sometime in the future and flood your house.
