I had my wife's Cadillac STS checked in Dallas, Texas (where I live) by two 2 Cadillac dealers, as the "service engine soon" light came on while she was driving in Dallas. The on-board computer gave the repair code of P024 (speed sensor). They gave a repair estimate for a transmission overhaul or replacement for a cost of $2,400.00 to $3,600.00 by both dealers, the cost difference was within $20.00 of each other. I drove the car to Castille's Auto Repair in St. Martinville, La. They inspected the complete vechile (at my request) and found the transmission fluid and filter needed to be replaced only. They completed the repairs and included, the replacement of both wiper blades, removed all 4 wheels, inspected brakes, rotated the tires, check the complete A/C system, checked all hoses, belts, fluides and battery. The total cost, for parts, labor and tax was $234.17 only. A long way from the Dallas cadillac dealers quote's. The car is as new once again and YES I do recommend them. ...read more
