Dr. Susan Glaudi makes the experience of erasing wrinkles relaxing and basically pain free. I first went to Dr. Glaudi after purchasing a Deal on a social media website - I was hooked. Botox, Juvederm and a complete series of Parisian Peels later my skin looks and feels terrific. The Benev line of skincare products she sells maintains my skin tone and texture between sessions. I highly recommend Dr. Glaudi for all of your skin care needs! ...read more

I have a great hair cut from a wonderful stylist, however the front desk/receptionists are so rude. Would it hurt them to be friendly or say "welcome", "thank you", "have a nice day"?!?! I think customer service is key in a salon and unfortunately, Paris Parker - Prytania really lacks in service. ...read more

After paying way too much for mediocre hair cuts by some of NYC's top stylists, I'm extremely untrusting of getting my hair cut by anyone new. This salon came highly recommended and I was scheduled with Dave. He gave me one of the best hair cuts I have ever had, far better than some cuts that I had paid over $200 for. Even my stylist in NYC thought he did amazing work! I find there is nothing more disappointing than a stylist that lacks creative vision. I don't want to have to tell anyone how to cut my hair. Dave gave me a great cut within minimal guidelines. I will most definitely return! ...read more

I don't know if it's this location or what, but my stylist was horrible. Avoid Anne. I am usually very happy with Paris Parker and I think my mistake was going to this particular location. I usually go to the one at the mall and haven't had any problems. I wanted my hair cut and highlighted and couldn't make an appointment at my usual location so I called this one. They easily fit me into an appointment and when I got there it seemed like a very nice location. Until my so-called stylist, Anne, started cutting my hair. I asked for a specific cut and style and she butchered it! I thought maybe it would look finebut when I got home I noticed my layers were NOT gradual but very choppy and poorly done. I was so upset I almost cried. I was able to make an appointment at my other location and they thankfully sort of fixed it. My hair is much shorter now and I would recommend avoiding this stylist. I'm sure the other stylists are good so I can't totally blame the store ...read more

One of the worst things about moving is finding a new hairstylist - colorist when you had the best in your old home town of Los Angeles. In L.A. my hairstylist was stylist/colorist to Nancy O'Dell - from Access Hollywood etc...etc...etc... many stars and I've been with her for over 10 years. I love her so much that I fly back to L.A. to get my hair done - no joke! Now I'm living in Houma, LA - very small town and I really don't trust anyone to do my hair....however, it's been 7 months since I've gotten my hair colored and it's needed and I don't have time to fly back to L.A......so I started researching New Orleans - read a lot of reviews on line - including the ones you're reading now and after I saw that Dallas won best colorist in 2009 I took the chance - made the appt. and got my hair done TODAY. Can I tell you how AWESOME Dallas is???? Can I tell you how DETAILED he is?????? I told him my I normally have 3 highlights and One Low Light applied to my hair...he looks at it and says ""I can match that"".....PLUS he went and not only colored the roots - but pulled some strands all the way through - colored the whole strand to get the colors even through the hair....it's BEAUTIFUL....NATURAL...it's perfect! I was hoping for ""just don't screw it up"" - and got....maybe better than L.A.???? Then the cut is fab.....again exactly what I wanted - he blew it out and I left salon beautiful!!! What a great feeling to have found a new home away from home!!! ...read more

Ten Years Younger in less than 10 days!

Have you taken a good look in the mirror lately? If so, what did you see? If you are like millions of hard working women today, you may start to see fine lines when you smile. Maybe the tone of your skin is showing imperfections. The life many women led today juggling time between their careers and their family leaves very little time to make those weekly facial appointments. Fortunately, it’s becoming easier to make time to put us first. I will show you how a few simple changes that will make you look ten years younger in as little as a week. Microdermabrasion is a skin resurfacing treatment that works by gently abrading the top layer of the skin leaving a fresh smooth layer underneath. It is a non invasive, non surgical procedure that can be performed at home, in beauty salons, spas, and dermatological offices.  This procedure has virtually no side effects since it is one of the lease invasive skin resurfacing procedures. It is very effective in dimensioning and getting rid of fine lines, enlarged pores, blackheads, age spots, uneven skin tone, wrinkles, and even stretch marks.  If you choose to go to the doctor’s office, expect to pay approximately $250 to $450 which includes one facial treatment and a consultation fee. If prefer to go to the spa, you can expect to pay anywhere between $75 to $200. There are several at home kits, that are just as effective, which will range anywhere from $20 to $200. With any of these services you can expect to see results rather quickly, and eventually look ten years younger. ...read more
