Sphere Control SEO

By RobertGray

This is one of the few times I actually wanted to go tell someone about a win win situation with a car dealership vendor. I met Tiny and Hazjip a little over a year ago at an NADA meeting and it was it was one of those watershed moments where something mysterious becomes understandable. Over a three month period, the Sphere Control team earned the business of all 17 of my dealerships. At the end of the day, we are making more money and our competition hates us. These guys are very effective! Highly recommended! ...read more

3 Ways to Become a Trusted Advisor

Do your clients seek you out for advice? If so, you have made a home in their minds as a trusted source of information. Being a trusted advisor has several benefits including attraction and loyalty. When a client feels that you are a trusted advisor and a colleague needs help in your field, who do you think they will be referred to? That's right, the trusted advisor. You will receive word of mouth advertising as the most effective method of marketing. Keeping your clients is just as important, if not more important than, as getting new clients. When you are a trusted advisor, your clients feel that they can call on you for expert advice and problem-resolving assistance. So how do you make yourself a trusted advisor? No matter your business, you have the opportunity to shift from a linear sales model to a consultative sales approach. Understand your prospect's needs, one-on-one if feasible, and provide a solution that fully meets or exceeds that need. Your clients will feel the care you have for their particular situation and will share that feeling, along with the full resolution of their need, with others. If you are in a professional or service business, volunteer time with local non-profits. I have a CPA client that works with a lot of non-profits in town. Her participation instantly boosts her visibility, exhibits her skills as a CPA, and people take note of her professional involvement. Another way to become a trusted advisor is to write about advancements, procedures, systems, and ideas in your field. Do not write about an achievement so much as something that your prospects will benefit from reading. Target your prospects in what you write, perhaps what you did to accomplish your achievement. There are many ways to become a trusted advisor in your field, we only covered a few in this article. Priorities (from Bone Marketing's November newsletter)

What a wild ride this year has been. You may have noticed that we missed the last 2(!) newsletters. Why? Hurricane Gustav hit us hard! With no power for two weeks in September, we got way behind and only caught up two weeks ago.   In a time of devastation, like Gustav, God reminds us about priorities. It was re-enforced that protecting and caring for our families should be our top priority – always.   Our house was not damaged (luckily) so the only priority I had was keeping my family fed. Because we had to cook over a fire, I took over all of the cooking duties the first few days (thank you Boy Scouts of America!).   I experienced the family priority from the point of view of a son – on the fourth day without power, my dad purchased a generator and brought it to us. He went without so that his son, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren could have power.   When power returned, we stopped the active pursuit of new business – prioritizing our clients over business growth – something that is now company policy. If we are attempting to meet a deadline for a client, we will cancel appointments with prospects in order to meet it. Thank you all who bared with us during this difficult time.   You are our company’s top priority, Brockwell Bone To subscribe to our monthly newsletter, please visitwww.bonemarketing.comor send a blank email tosubscribe@bonemarketing.com. ...read more

Jail Time (& good marketing)

I received a call yesterday from a telemarketer and had to listen due to the comical script she was given. She started out with ... Hi this is Linda, you areone of Lake Geneva's most wanted! The MDA wants you to turn yourself in for a good cause. You are invited to come for an hourlock-upat Gino's East (restaurant) on such and such date. There was more, but I think that you get the idea. I, of course, volunteered. Here's what happens. I get a free webpage (www.bonendustries.com/jailtime) to send all of my friends and contacts to. It says that I've been "locked up" and I have to raise bail. "Please bail me out!!!!"Bail is raised through donations on the site from my contact list. If that's not viral, I don't know what is!!! On top of it, Gino's (a new restaurant to the area) gets me (a business owner) through the door - fantastic planning. So check it out and think about how you can apply something like this to your business!www.bonendustries.com/jailtime ...read more
