Moved here over 3 years ago and had an extremely hard time filling my prescription for pain medication. Few pharmacies even had my meds, and those that did refused to recognize my prescription as valid, since it was from a doctor in Cincinnati (even though it was on the correct Kentucky Rx form). They had no problem with it, understanding that I'd just moved here... my driver's license address didn't match my home address. I still see a Cincinnati doctor, and it's still OK with them. They will even deliver the Rx (anywhere in Jefferson County), or can mail it, since it's difficult for me to get out at times. Grocery section is good, too. A great selection/variety (especially bakery and butcher) for such a small store, and prices are reasonable (as good or better than Kroger), staff is friendly, helpful and courteous, and checkout lines quick (never seen a long line or crowds there). Even their self-checkout lines are quick and easy, whether you have 10 items (or less) or a cart full. Basically just a great little neighborhood grocery store... the kind that I haven't seen for 40 years or more! I'd recommend people try it just for the fun of it. ...read more

The store was good many years ago. Now they have very little cashiers and the ones they have don't even want to bag your groceries. They want you to use self checkout but if you do they stair at you like your stealing. Almost every store I go to including this one is just horrible then they wonder why people are doing more shopping online. Nobody wants to be harassed while shopping. ...read more

I bought some orange juice on Jan 7 and got home before noticing that it had expired on Dec 26. Took back to store and manager told me that was why it was marked down to $1.99. I asked him why they would knowingly sell expired juice and he said it's fine for a few weeks after the expiration date!!! Ridiculous! ...read more
