Who knew that there was a locksmith in town who'd also come work on your car? Someone recently broke into my truck and stole my stereo... this was accomplished by pushing the passenger-side lock cylinder into the door of my truck. I originally thought it was pulled out, but not until calling this guy to get a re-keying estimate did I consider that it might have been otherwise. He offered to take apart the door and check so we wouldn't have to pay for new parts. That didn't work out as hoped, so he had to put the door back together, wait for me to get the part in, then re-key and install the part. But he only charged me about $10 more than he originally quoted me on the door to do all the labor twice. The re-key was mad cheap, too. ...read more
