Went to Pure entertainment yesterday..... First time there: Here are a few of my thoughts. 1. It was Saturday - our group ordered 3 pizzas - there were a couple of birthday parties going on - but c'mon over an hour for 3 pizzas....??? Why - because we had 1 person making all of the food for the bar and the play area. Speaking of....I don't think that alcohol should be allowed in the play area..... 2. When we paid, we were given a bracelet and our child was given a bracelet. Both had matching numbers on them. We were told this was so when we left - the numbers would be matched up so that we weren't taking a child that isn't ours.....DIDN'T WORK !!! Friends left with our child - they didn't have on a bracelet....NO ONE stopped them to check this..... 3. Yes the kids had a ball...... but SEVERAL hazards. Electrical cords laying around that children can easily trip over. One of the children did trip and in turn it unplugged the cord which caused the inflatable to begin deflating with children in it. I saw an adult (not a worker) plug it back in so no one would be injured. Another hazard in that a child could try and plug this back in. 4. Another hazard are the mats that are around the inflatables. The mats do not go clear to the wall and some of the edges are rolling up causing tripping hazards. 5. There needs to be an area for the little ones. We had a couple of two year olds in our group, that on more than one occasion were trampled by 7 and 8 year olds. If areas are not designated, then there needs to be an attendant monitoring the areas. At one point - I saw a boy who appeared to be about 15 years old (didn't work there), jumping in an area with 2-5 year olds and he wasn't paying attention to what he was doing. My friend had her wedding here and I really enjoyed the open space and large dance floor. I have been to many concerts here but I didn't know that you could have weddings here. Now that I know I plan on having my wedding here also! ...read more
