I received a pedicure in March 2011, for my spring break vacation. Instead of a good pedicure I received a staff infection in one toe and a fungal infection in the other. The technician pushed my cuticle down too far into the cuticle bed, causing an infection. This was very painful. Both of my big toe toenails will die and come off. I had to have the nail of the staff infected toe removed, it was very painful! My podiatrist said this was all caused by unclean instruments and pushing the outer skin to far into the cuticle bed. I will never go back to Super Nails. They told me it would be $40 for a manicure and pedicure, but ended up costing $45. The girl said it was because she put polish on my toes. This is very ridiculous. No other salon charges for polish and normally it is included at other salons. Another thing I hate is when they won't speak English!! There was a girl that came in after me and they told here it would be 30 minutes. I had been sitting for 30-40 minutes waiting for my pedicure, and the guy that works there took the girl that came in after me saying she had an appointment, which she didn't. She was younger than I am, and talk about discrimination. WOW, I will never go back there again. ...read more
