My family eats at this Kentucky Fried Chicken about twice a week. Once on Wednesday for their chicken fried steak meal for $1.99 and whenever we don't feel like cooking.\t\n\t\nThis store used to have very bad management and the food was horrible. But over the last couple of years it's really been turned around. It was alway dirty & the food and service was so bad we just couldn't do it anymore. \t\n\t\nWe went in to get the steak special and was shocked at how clean the store was and how nice everyone had been, it was like they actually cared. Whenever the family comes in from out of town it's the best deal we can get for 15 of us.\t\n\t\nWe're glad they finally cleaned up this place since it's the only place to buy chicken in Salina unless you want to get it from Dillons or Walmart. We used coupons at America's Best Inn to order at 9 pm. We were told 40-45 min. At 10, we were told that delivery had been there. Checked with the desk; no pizza. Again we called, he had gone to Best Motel. They assured us it would be there in 10 min. At 10:45, we called and again he'd gone to the wrong hotel, so they remade our pizzas; now free. At 11:15, delivery shows wanting me to sign charge tickets, lying about having been to OUR motel twice, when our teens in the lobby waiting to attack KNEW he had not been. I called about signing,...he said "never mind, they will be free." The mgr. said I needed only sign the void sale ticket. They did, however, send along 2 bottles of pop free, but my teens were less than grateful for the over 2 hour wait for dinner. ...read more
