Please Fix It
By Willied October 04, 2016
"I got a prompt response from Daniel of “Please Fix It” and he set clear expectation of the service that would be provided as well as when I should expect the technician to arrive. Josh called me about 15 minutes of his expected arrival and was very efficient and professional as well honest. I would definitely use them again if needed in the future." ...read more

My home warranty sent this vendor to me. He was a nightmare! It is going on three weeks and our washer is still broke and now it is worse and the took parts of my washer with them. Two weeks ago they came out to look at the washer and an employee could not figure it out and said it will take two guys to look at it. They came out for the second time and told me they had to order the whole drainage parts. He called and said parts should be in on Wednesday i will call and let you know. No call so i called him. He said they received the part and could be there Friday. Great i thought then on Friday i get a call from him saying his employee quit and took the parts with him and he sounded so upset and apologetic so i said i understand when can you get a new part and so forth he told me he had rushed the delivery and should get it Monday and he would call to set up a time with me. Monday I do not get a call with a time frame or even a call that the part did in fact arrive, i get a call stating he is in route (thinking Overland Park and we are Liberty) I say my husband can be home in about 5-10 min. He was dropping family off at the airport since we just got married on Saturday. My husband calls me 30 minutes later and says where are they. I'm thinking oh maybe just traffic. I call and he tells me ma'ma i waited five minutes your husband never showed (Lie one) I go on to tell him what poor customer service this is due to his employee stealing a part (which i think was lie number 2) and he is yelling at me not letting me talk and telling me he can schedule a new time to come out. I call my warranty and they get in contact with this awful Please Fix It and say he can be there Wednesday at 9. Okay so my mother in law is there at 8:30 he messages me and says oh it will be like 10 now. So he gets there and tears up my washer more than it was. water is leaking out the front and from the back parts missing and screws everywhere in my laundry room floor is wet. I will post photos for you all to see as well. I reported to BBB which he is not accredited on there so i would never recommend using these people even if they were FREE! The worst experience i have every went through! He will say i wasn't a customer and it was through warranty blablah but i would never use him again even if my warranty suggest him and you shouldn't either more stress than any good! ...read more

We called to check availability and scheduled an appointment for an iPad repair. We dropped off our iPad and were told to return at 4pm to pick it up. Upon our return, the merchant had not even started the repair. We were then told they were staying 2 hours late to complete the promised services and would call upon completion. Two hours later we began calling, but there was no answer. We then went to the store to find no one there. The owner finally called back, and stated he would meet us and mall security at the store in 30 minutes to return our iPad. When 30 minutes passed and he was a no show, we called him again. The owner became instantly irate, stated that we were horrible people for asking him to work on "the Lord's day", followed by using profanity among other shocking things, and stated he was not coming to the store, then hung up. The following morning I was able to arrange getting our iPad back. This was a truly shocking experience! ...read more

Kansas City Business Owners - Web Design Related SEO Is Not Dead
OK, so I get this eMail from a marketing company to join a Webinar March 6th, on the following topic: "The Practice Formerly Known As SEO" So it kind of peaked my interest because once again I'm thinking, here's another slick marketing company trying to get you to buy their services by making you think something out there in Google land has dramatically changed, and you'd better get on board. After reading the details of the Webinar, I'm pretty sure they are providing SEO services, they just want to catch people with a different way of thinking about SEO and make you feel you have to use them. Here's the main topics of the Webinar on their eMail invite.... Here's what you need to know about SEO: Most of the previously, widely accepted SEO practices will now get you into trouble (if they haven't already). "Link Building" isn't something you should be doing. "Audience Building" IS what you should be doing. So I read this synopsis and immediately say, NO NO NO, stop telling just part of the picture. Stop confusing business owners. It's OK to talk about "Audience Building" as a component of SEO, but SEO still exists, and there isn't some dramatic shift in what it takes to show up on the first page in Google. Here's another blog post about what it takes to get your Kansas City Web design to the first page of Google if you're interested. Folks, SEO is exactly what the term means. Search Engine Optimization. How are your "optimizing" your business marketing efforts to get to the first page of Google. It means, what are you doing, as a business owner in Overland Park, Kansas to make it so your Web site shows up on the first page of Google? You must "optimize" your efforts to show up in Google. Hence, there's a reason why it's call SEO, not Audience Building! So let's talk for a bit about "Audience Building". Yes Audience building is important to your SEO efforts. Audience building means. What are you doing on the Internet to tell people you are the greatest thing since sliced bread for the Key Words you want to show up in Google for. What are you doing on the Internet to convince Google you are an "expert" in the topic/keywords you want to be showing up for. But folks, it all ties back to the central point of reference for your business on the Internet. That central point being - Your Web site. If you are an attorney in Kansas City, and you want to be found on the first page of Google for Adoption Lawyer Kansas City. Then those exact words had better be on your Web site. A lot! You'd better be blogging about adoption topics on your Web site. You'd better be coming up with a way to be known all over the Internet, besides your Web site, for the fact that you are the best adoption lawyer in Kansas City. Other people on the Internet should be telling people all about your business. Hopefully, they are sending those people to your Web site to check you out. Or, sending them to your social sites, which of course are linked to your Web site. But hear this. If your Web site isn't the core place, and it isn't optimized for "Adoption Lawyer Kansas City", you will struggle to get to the first page of Google for those Key Words. Google is all about a consistent message out on the Internet, and they are rewarding those who are consistent and key word focused. So business owners in Olathe, Kansas with an awesome Web design that you want to show up no the first page of Google. 100 percent understand that SEO is primary to your efforts. Don't be confused by people selling "Audience Building" services. As I've always said. If you are business owner, you must be dedicated to learning to get to, and stay on the top of a Google search result screen. Kansas City Don’t Get Taken By This Web Domain Name Scam
If you are a business owner in Kansas City, or any city. Plain and simple. This letter is a scam. The following letter comes in an official envelope from the “Domain Registry of America”. Throw this letter in the trash! The letter sounds so official, and important. They are trying to scare you with the fact that your domain is expiring soon, playing on your ignorance of the domain registry process. You don’t need to move your domain name, and the prices they want to charge are crazy. Stay with your current domain register. For sure you will only pay around $12 a year by staying where you are. Please call me (913) 908-5642 if you have any questions about this letter. My best advice if you get this letter. Throw it away!!!! https://www.kcwebspecialists.com/business-owners-dont-get-taken-web-domain-name-scam/ ...read more
