Take your money and run. Matchmaker International of KC is a total scam and it is run by a man that has no shame or ethics. He's a liar, a con man and will take every penny he can get from you. I asked for a refund within 4 days because I knew I had been "taken". Can't get it back. Can't get him to call me. DO NOT TRUST them at all! ...read more

I wish I could give Matchmaker International a big fat ZERO as well. I knew within 6 days of signing on the dotted line that the company was preying on single mothers and taking their money. They pride themselves on "quality" members and they tell you that they do all the background checks and all the work for you. When I received my first match I went on Facebook to check out more pictures. They guy's status was "in a relationship" and his profile picture was a pic of him and his girlfriend! I was also matched with someone out of my requested age range. I asked for a Christian and I got someone who doesn't believe Jesus Christ is the son of God. I know people who have joined and they've had the pleasure of going out on dates with the most socially challenged people. I never went out on any dates and asked to cancel within 6 days of signing up. I can't get my money back and I can't get the owner of the company to return my calls. RUN RUN RUN RUN ...read more

I went to see matchmaker in Overland Park KS. I had tried the bars, the chat lines, websites, and singles clubs. Nothing seemed to be working so I called local dating services out of the phone book. I chose to meet with the people at matchmakers because they were the only service in town that was willing to answer my #1 question, HOW MUCH DOES IT COST! After meeting in their office with the owner I knew this was the right place for me. The owner and matching lady are very up front and honest. Some times I did not like every thing they had to say but I do know they had my best interest at heart. If you are considering a dating service i highly recommend them.
