I would not recommend this company to anyone. I asked to lower my bill to just basic service at the beginning of the month and very conviently for them the bill already went out so they couldn't change the billing in time. So I got charged for a month of serv I didn't have any longer. They said it would be credited on the next bill but it wasn't. I called spoke to somone and he was no help I then asked to talk to his supervisor and someone else came on who wa not a supervisor finally management was suppose to call back in 24 hours but that didn;t happen either. I have been with Sage for thirteen years with no problems but when my bill went up to $75 per month for basic service I decided to cancel it and use my cell phone only. I have had hell with them trying to get my final bill sorted out. Three members of the CS tried to tell me that the State of Texas does not allow a phone company to pro-rate the basic monthly charge. This according to the PUC is not true. I have spent hours on the phone calling back and forth to Sage but to no avail. They are trying to charge me a bill which does not exist. If I find this on my credit report I will file a compaint with the PUC. Don't go with this company, their business practices stink. ...read more
