I rented from Lisa for a little over a year. We had a leak in our ceiling and contacted her immediately. April 23 we notified her of our problem and by the time we moved out in August, our entire kitchen ceiling had fallen in and we had to put up trash bags to keep bats out. Lisa is a liar and a thief.. she never did fix the things that were supposed to be done before I moved in. one being a water line for washer hookup.. it blew about 1 am flooding my floors with 3 inches of water.. I had to be at work at 6 am the next morning.. nice...I hauled off over a truck load of trash from the yard. but couldnt get her to remove the old nasty toilet she had switched out ( no mention of that needing done) or the auto glass behind the fence from a previous tenant.. I could not keep a light bulb in the living rm ceiling fan.. later found out the place had been on fire at least twice due to faulty wiring.. I paid on time, kept the place clean,, went over board cleaning it again when I moved out so that she would refund all of my deposit...cleaning.. carpet cleaning , mowing a dead yard.. ( drought, no grass grew anywhere).. removing auto glass, toilet, and who knows what else she drummed up, she ignored calls, emails saying she had legally 45 days to return my deposit.. it took almost 3 months..and her excuse was she didnt have my new address.. funny its just a couple blocks from one of her other listings..all in all.. she lied repeated,, raised my rent when my contract came up for renewal.... and basically.. stole over $300 from my deposit..so yeah.. toss your hard earned cash into one of her dumps.. just keep your last months rent in case she hasnt changed any. she sucks and Im telling everyone I know to steer clear... ...read more
