About Nashville, IN

Nashville is a city located in Brown County, Indiana and it is also part of Washington Township. Nashville, best known as the center of the Brown County Art Colony, is also the county seat. The city has a large tourism industry because of the local artist and the area's natural beauty. Brown County State Park, located in Nashville, is home to the best mountain bike riding and hosted the Pan American Games in 1987. The park is visit by more than one million people yearly. The city is also known for the unique shopping experience it offers. There are hundreds of specialty, antique, and other art and craft shops. Some of the city's other attractions include two covered bridges and 26 restaurants. Located nearby are the Yellowwood State Forest, T.C. Steele State Historic Site, Lake Monroe and Lake Lemon. I had never been to his clinic before this past Friday nor will I ever be back! I honestly would not even rank it as a 1! The worst experience I have ever had with a vet clinic. We had our Great Dane fixed, when we were dropping her off the "doctor" never once introduced himself when he came into the room, when speaking to him he was rude and acted like he could care less what our questions or concerns were. I walked out of there crying and knew I should have went right back in & got her. But I had heard he was a good & knowledgeable vet so we didn't because we knew she needed to be fixed. When I picked her up the next day I specifically asked the lady at the front desk if I could have pain medication for her due to living an hour away if she would to have needed it, and I was told no he doesn't give pain medication she did not even consult the doctor to even ask. Then I go back to get her she has a sticker on the cage that says do not move & had been laying in her own pee for who knows how long! On Tuesday, we had to take her to the emergency vet because of the way she was acting and spent $300 to be told she needed pain medication & anti-inflammatory and that if she would have had pain medication she would not have been acted the way she did. I called to speak to Dr Bruster to let him know I would never be back nor recommended anyone there and his words were "that's fine I have plenty of business elsewhere". So that right there tells me all it is to him is MONEY and not the care given to the animals!! If you truly love & care for your animals DO NOT take them to Bean Blossom Animal Clinic! I took a dog to him that was suffering from Ivermectin poisoning. He was being treated by another vet but the money on our care credit card was running out and we needed to find a cheaper way of treating him. The first vet we took our dog to said the chance of him surviving was 100%. Dr. Brester gave our dog Dexamethasome which is not for dogs and not for Ivermectin poisoning and increases the chance of seizures. Then Dr. Brester left and when he came back our dog was dead. We contacted a pet memorial service and they could not pick the dog up until the next day and so Dr. Brester said he couldn't keep the body inside and so he threw the outside like a piece of trash. This was my beloved dog that I raised from puppyhood and Dr. Brester killed him and threw his body out to rot. He needs to be shut down. ...read more
