Been here a few years maintenance sucks.....Office staff attitudes sucks...And for the renovated price it aint worth it at all....Had 2 break ins since I've been here most recent was almost a month ago and they still haven't fixed my door I didn't even receive an apology....Maintenance issues huh your better off at not reporting because they come weeks sometimes months later.All they care about is leasing these apartments out and once your in your in they don't care about ya.They have a high turnover rate in staff and maintenance so ain't no telling who broke in my apt.Imma make sure I continue to put the word out these apts SUCKS.!!!!Then they tell me not having air in 90 degree weather is not an emergency Lol such a joke....DON'T RENT FROM HERE....!!!!!!!!!!!! ...read more

I didn't start off on a great foot with Scandia. The door to my building was broken off the hinge about a week after I moved in (in AUGUST). I said something to a maintenance man, I went in to the office, I sent a maintenance request online, and nothing was done. Each time I was told that a contractor would have to be hired because the doors were heavy, and that I should be glad the door is still attached, some buildings don't even have a door. Finally, about a week after calling the corporate office and several "We had no idea" voicemails, the door was fixed (in NOVEMBER). Maintenance requests, as mentioned by everyone else reviewing, are a joke. We had a water leak in our living room, called emergency maintenance, he said he would be by to check it out... That was 3 months ago. The compactors are rarely run, so there is always trash outside of them, with a lovely family of raccoon that inhabit the area. My neighbor was robbed a month ago, nothing has been done to fix the outdoor light that has been out since I've lived there, and now the light in our building inside our hallway is out. Making it almost impossible to see if you come home after dusk. The size of the apartment is great, but hardly worth the excess trash and safety concerns. The location is also amazing. A potentally nice older apt. with our experiences as usually where problems are. THE MANAGEMENT hides behind their employees. Its similar to living in Russia communist level. If u can make do with their money hungry, everything has a monerary penalty to it polices and ur apt. is in clean working order go for it! No issues here with the maint. workers or office staff they do what they can on their own. Where the apt managers come from I dont know in 1 1/2 yrs I have known of at least 3 turnovers one mgr. told me once "what do u expect? its just an apartment" There u go..... ...read more
