The employees that have the most direct contact with the patients seemed over worked. These aides are running around with 10 to 12 patients - real people with lots of needs - while management was standing at the nurses station in the middle of it everyone scolding her because Ms. soandso's family wants to know why their mother hasn't received her shower yet. My heart went out to her and I felt humiliated for her. All this administrator should have done was pull up his sleeves, pulled her aside, and told her he would cover the call lights so she could give Ms. soandso her shower. I am afraid that all facilities have the same problem - lack of compassionate, dependable care givers. My mother needs a great deal of care for which they are charging a great deal of money.
