This company is the biggest scam in Indiana. They stole over $1200 from us and refused to let us rent a home that we were approved for. I've never heard of a rental company where you have to meet an agent at a certain time to sign the lease or forfeit the house. I had an emergency and was 15 mins late meeting with my lease agent and was told that I forfeit my "reservation fee" and the house. I will never attempt to rent from these rude, unprofessional, inarticulate, disrespectful, unconcerned, and uncaring people EVER! This put my mother, who was a great tenant for 4 years out because they wanted the double she was living in. She had to go on after my father past and 3 years later these idiots do this? Horrible company, please don't rent from them. I want to give them a big fat 0! However the option doesn't exist. ...read more

Dorfman is supposed to be a service industry, yet they fail to provide service to the tenant; which I'd like to remind the home owners and Dorfman that without tenant you do not have the ability to provide services. It is impossible to get any assistance from this company, I called and asked for a print out of my account showing that I had paid my rent each month. They cannot provide a simple printout of payments received. Makes me wonder who is doing their accounting. The management and staff are incredibly rude, and disrespectful. The are as close to white trash as I've ever encountered. I've only been in the property for a few months and there have been nothing but issues with their process; which by the way they refuse to tell you up front what their process is -- keeping the tenant at their mercy. Extremely UNPROFESSIONAL! I WOULD not lease from this company again and would advise anyone thinking of leasing from them to rethink the decision. They are a nightmare.
