I've been going to this salon for about 5 years. Janeen and her employees are pleasant and professional. Lisa cuts my hair and does an amazing job each time. I am very surprised to be reading such negative reviews. Sounds like an ex disguntled employee or perhaps a competing salon, maybe the culprit. I took my boyfriends niece to this salon to have her makeup and hair done for prom. Amanda did a wonderful job. Lisa also cuts both my parents hair, and she did my sister's hair when she got married last November. Janeen's prices may seem a tad high to those who frequent lower quality chain salons. When it comes to these types of services, you get what you pay for. This salon is a quality place with outstanding service. Just FYI I was not paid or encouraged by anyone to write this review. Don't pay no mind to this review by Eric he does not want anybody to know the truth that he is related to Janeen and she paid him to write his review the other reviews are about the same cause that is the type of service she gives. She gave me an uneven hair cut then when i told her about it she told me i didn't know what i was talking about and that i was blind. Then, she over charged me when i complained she said i could not count and that tips are included in the price i walked out very upset feeling worse then when i went in. My experience at Janeen's has been nothing like the single individual who wrote the 3 previous bad reviews. When I went to see her for the first time in October, I brought a picture of a haircut I was aiming for, and Janeen then went about cutting and styling my hair like the picture. Janeen has cut my hair maybe five times since and I've been happy with each cut she's given me. As for the person that wrote the 3 other reviews, you could have done a better job of making it look like 3 different people wrote those reviews - seriously, 0 reviews forever then 3 reviews in 7 days with 2 made on the same day? As it is, with similar grammatical and punctuation errors in each review, it should be fairly obvious to most people that one person wrote all 3. Also, this same person wrote 4 reviews on Yahoo (google Janeens on 45th) using the same made up names (Carol, Rick, and Beverly), but mixed up some facts between their characters.
