Walgreens

1.0

In conclusion to the following story, I ended up going to CVS and got exactly what I needed in less than 5 minutes for 1/10th of the cost. Walgreens is a RIP OFF who don't know how to treat their customers! I have been going through the Invitro Process and have spent (in combo with my insurance) over $10,000 in prescriptions over the last 2 months at this particular Walgreens. I am at the end of a cycle and called in a refill on some needles that I needed to finish off a prescription. I used their "Prefill" service and TYPED IN the prescription number and they filled the wrong needles (I even took the bag with the prescription number in to show them). Not only did they fill the wrong needles, but then (even though I had 3 refills according to the Dr.) they refused to fill the correct needles. When I called the store to correct the problem, I was treated as though I was stupid and didn't know what I was given. After trying to correct the situation by phone and being hung up on, I went into the store. At this point, again, I was treated like I was stupid and told that I "Didn't have a prescription for what I needed" and that I would have to pay additional for what I did need. I then told them just to fill what they had on file and they told me to wait. I sat down with my husband and cousin and we were discussing the situation and this "pharmacist tech" who had been "helping" me ALL NIGHT, decides that I'm making a disturbance and that I needed to be quiet or leave. At this point, Walgreens will NEVER get my business again and that is exactly what I told this horrible girl who was probably all of about 20 years old. How do you treat people (not to mention pregnant people) like that? In any other situation/business she would have been fired for treating a customer like that! I went to CVS and got what I needed in 5 minutes and where Walgreens was going to charge me $23.98 for what I needed, I got it from CVS for $2.38. ...read more
