We received a flyer from CF Funding and responded to it, got a call from Juan Lopez, he visited us at our home and offered 4.99% for refinance we started the process then he changed it to 5.25%. He kept asking for more documents and stop answering our calls for updates. We were told that we were close to the date of closing and that we didn't have to make the mortgage payment for that month, days passes without any update, when he finally answered the phone he told us that we couldn't do the closing until we make the mortage pending payment. We did so, days passed again and finally 1.5 months later we got a closing date. Then we were contacted by Bank of America and they told us that we qualified for a streamline with a 4.75% rate. We called Juan to cancel and move to BofA and he offered to try to get the same for us. Same story all over again. We found out from BofA that this company ran our credit report 23 times in one month!!!! which made our credit score go down few points!!! DON'T GO WITH THEM!!!
