Ate there tonight with my husband and kids. We were charged for a side item that the menu said came with the meal. Only a $2.99 charge and assumed it was simply a mistake. We brought this to the attention of the waitress, Mia, who became incredibly rude and said she had never had anyone complain and had been working there for 4 years. Even after I showed her the menu where it says clear as day that a side comes with the meal, she refused to issue the refund. The manager finally stepped in and said to give us the refund. Mia became upset and said she wasn't talking to us anymore and walked off. The manager had to call her back because he couldn't figure out how to do the refund to our card. While processing the refund, she started saying we were wrong and that she had worked there for 4 years. Had a wonderful meal, the food was amazing; however, our waitress (Aisha) was well below average. Horrible, if you will. She took $30 from our check holder on her way to the cash register, then promptly blaming us for not paying our full amount, and then she reported it to management, thus making us pay the remainder (although we had already once paid). The owner (Wonderful guy!) recognized this as absolute debauchery, called me at my house, and offered to reimburse us for their error, and ultimately, punished the waitress. The food was great, the atmosphere was very nice, my only beef (pardon the pun) was with our awful waitress. I love the food here but the service is awful. They are always rude and if you get something delivered its going to be the longest wait of your entire life. Ive waited an hour and forty five minutes before and the average wait is well over an hour. Overall good place but be very specific when you order and be ready to wait a very long time. ...read more
