They are known to make their way into dens, attics, buildings, porches, and chimneys. SquirrelsThere are 4 types of squirrels indigenous to the area: Flying, Grey, Red, and Fox. They generally inhabit wooded areas but as communities expand, they find other places to live. They will gnaw wood and move into attics. They will tear up gardens and eat ornamental plants or garden plants. They will nest next to electrical cables and wiring. They will gnaw electrical wires in and around houses.
